Acute Pain

Pain is your body's warning that something is wrong. You may have pain from an injury, after surgery, or from a health problem. Pain can affect muscles, bones, joints, organs, nerves and the nervous system. Pain, however, feels different for everyone.

Acute pain starts quickly and lasts for a short time. Examples include pain form an injury, a headache or right after surgery. If you are suffering from sudden pain, you may want to visit our immediate care center.
